Sarti Spritz, Fruity Italian Cocktail

Sarti Spritz made with Sarti Rosa, Prosecco and soda water. This fruity spritz is suited to summer, served alongside olives and antipasti.

Is this the new spritz of the summer?

Sarti Rosa (pronounced sar-tee ro-sa) is an Italian aperitivo liqueur from Bologna dating back to 1885, although it's definitely not as well known as Aperol or Campari.

It has a gorgeous pink hue and is made with Sicilian blood orange, mango and passion fruit.

In our opinion, the flavour is heavier on the passion fruit side and reminds us a lot of Passoa liqueur. It's not bitter at all, so if you're not a fan of an Aperol Spritz or Campari cocktail then this might be the aperitivo for you.

See the full recipe below, plus some of our favourite Italian antipasti recipes to serve with it. Enjoy!
