We're putting an Italian twist on a classic White Russian Cocktail by adding Frangelico an incredibly good hazelnut liqueur. This is the solid after-dinner cocktail made with coffee liqueur, vodka a splash of cream and topped with shaved chocolate.
Frangelico is one of our favourite liqueurs. It's good sipped on its own, added to an affogatohot chocolate and of course, cocktails.
This is a fun little twist on a White Russian Cocktail by adding Frangelico to give it a good hazelnut kick.
It's also made with coffee liqueur and vodka and topped with heavy cream so it's rich, indulgent and good!
This is the solid cosy cocktail to have during the holidays or to serve at parties. See how to make it below plus what to serve with it, enjoy!

Ingredient notes and substitutions
- Kahlua – this is our coffee liqueur of choice but use your favourite!
- Frangelico – We love this liqueur it's so good. We use this to make out Hot Chocolate Affogato!
- Vodka – we use absolute but again, use a brand you love.
- Cream – you must use heavy cream (double cream UK) and not a low-fat option.
Serving suggestions
This cocktail could either be served at the start of the night if you like something on the sweet/indulgent side or it's solid served as an after-dinner drink (it's like dessert and coffee in one).
If you're looking for something sweet to serve with your cocktail why not try our Cuccidati (Italian Fig Cookies)Tegole Valdostane (addictively good!) or Baci di Dama cookies.

Method
Fill a short glass with ice then add the coffee liqueur, frangelico and vodka and give it a stir.
Carefully and slowly pour the cream on top. To stop it from mixing too much you can pour it over the back of a metal spoon.
